Where the handoff breaks

Inspect the maintenance history
Open the asset’s work records and examine observations, parts, time and closeout verification. Update the record when the asset’s status or service needs change.

Current scope
Depreciation, financial asset valuation, automatic RFID discovery and live IoT telemetry are not part of this register. CSV asset import creates new records; it does not overwrite existing asset codes.
