Create the asset record
Confirm the asset code, site and location before printing. Retired equipment and equipment at inactive sites cannot receive a new request label.
QR code maintenance software
Print an asset QR label that opens a public fault-report form with the asset and site already selected.
For facilities and equipment maintenance teams
No card required · plans from $29/month
When an operator reports a problem without a clear equipment identity, maintenance loses time locating it. A printed label connects the physical asset to its request form without giving the requester access to private work history.
01
Confirm the asset code, site and location before printing. Retired equipment and equipment at inactive sites cannot receive a new request label.
02
Open the asset and choose Print scan tag. Print at actual size, preserve the white border and verify a scan after applying the label. Label material and placement must suit the environment.
03
A scan opens the request form with the correct asset and site. The requester records the problem and urgency without creating an account. An immediate safety risk still needs the site’s emergency process.
04
Review the request in the maintenance queue and convert an accepted issue into a work order. The requester receives a private status link; the team retains control of assignment and closeout.
Use this when people outside the maintenance team need to report a clearly located issue without learning the full CMMS.
The current workflow prints individual asset labels. It does not manufacture durable tags, automatically discover assets or expose technician history to anonymous scanners. A printed label is a link to an intake form, not a safety certification.
In a trial, create an asset, open its request link, submit a real test issue and inspect the resulting handoff. Test a printed QR label with the devices your requesters use.
