Choose a defensible trigger

Use a calendar interval for date-driven work or a meter threshold for use-driven equipment. Review the manufacturer and site requirements before choosing an interval. Hours, kilometres and miles must match the asset meter.

Attach the asset and task

Set the plan’s asset, site, procedure and next due trigger. An editable template can create a procedure, first work order and optional calendar repeat during installation. Check the first due date rather than accepting a sample interval unchanged.

Generate and assign due work

Calendar and meter workflows generate maintenance work when due. Record actual meter use so thresholds can be evaluated. Inspect the resulting work order and ensure the responsible technician can find it.

Review execution and the next cycle

Complete the generated job with its required evidence. Review overdue jobs and the next planned trigger. Pause or revise a plan when the operating situation changes, retaining a reason in your team’s change process.
